Neil Patrick Harris Lands Gig In The Next Installment Of Harold & Kumar

Actor Neil Patrick Harris is again lining up with the funny guys who went to the White Castle for the first time, almost a decade ago. Now on movie three, the Harold & Kumar 'go to' series is quickly becoming a cult classic. Apparently, the movie entitled 'A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas' is slated to be hilarious, centered around Harold and Kumar’s attempts to find a replacement Christmas tree after Kumar burns Harold’s tree down — presumably in a drug-related accident. We're not yet sure where Neil Patrick Harris' character comes in, but we're willing to bet it has something to do with drugs and acohol and over-the-top antics. We've even got a sneak peek pic of Neil Patrick Harris on set:

Bernadette Peters Takes Catherine Zeta-Jones Place In Broadway Musical

Actress, Bernadette Peters has got some big shoes to fill if she plans on replacing Tony award-winnng Catherine Zeta-Jones in her role as Desiree on the Broadway musical 'A Little Night Music'. Recently, Bernadette Peters got some practice as a fill in on Regis & Kelly, where she took Kelly Ripa's role as host for a day. Of course, that job is a little easier than the role that Stephen Sondheim wants her to play. Bernadette Peters said of Mr. Sondheim: "We talk every once in a while. Actually we were talking about something else actually and he said, 'By the way' and I said, 'Well yes, that would be lovely.'" Bernadette was last seen on Television on the set of Ugly Betty. Let's hope she gets her bearings straight pretty quickly. Coming up behind a Tony award winner is no comedy!

RUSTENBURG, South Africa - When Bob Bradley was an assistant soccer coach at the University of Virginia, his office in Charlottesville was situated next to the visitors' locker room for basketball.

And so coaches and assistant coaches from different sports would gather inside this claustrophobic room and do some serious eavesdropping during halftime on the visiting ACC stars of the day: Dean Smith, Jim Valvano, Lefty Dreisell and Mike Krzyzewski.

"Not to spy for information, but to hear how these guys went about their business," Bradley said.

There were pep talks then, good ones, and now Saturday Bradley himself says he is likely to deliver a short, rousing speech to his own team, before one of the biggest matches he has ever coached. The U.S. faces Ghana, the last African team standing, a difficult but winnable second-round game. The winner moves on to a World Cup quarterfinal against yet another beatable opponent yet to be determined.

There is a sense of possibility these days around Bradley, around these players, that is beyond the short soccer memory of most Americans. And Bradley, who is often perceived as a chronically stoic man, is poised to carpe diem and rev up the rhetoric.

"In certain moments, you speak passionately," Bradley said Friday to a small group of American reporters after his press conference at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium. "You do it in the right moment, in words to be able to put everyone on the same page. The library in my head is pretty good. I never have to write out my speeches."
