Actor Tsivilikas, Vassilis passed away today in the morning. He was 70 years old.

The veteran actor lost his battle with life during his transfer to Sismanoglio Hospital after a heart attack

Born in 1942 he attended the Anatolia College of Thessaloniki. Initially he participated in the school drama group and after completing his studies he attended English literature at Aristotle University, Thessaloniki. Later he left for Athens to get involved professionally with acting where he took exams to enter the Art Theatre, but without success . Eventually he studied acting at Pelos Katselis' School.

His first appearance in the theater was in 1965 in Nea Ionia. Two years later the Karolos Koun Art Theatre invited him. In 1970 he first appeared in the movie by Alekos Sakellarios "I thia mou i chipissa".

Since then he participated in dozens of movies and TV series playing roles in comedies, drama as well as in the so called "epitheorissi" Recently he was in charge of the theater Akadimos with a role in the comedy "Life Bicycle".
