Woman charged with manslaughter to be sentenced Tuesday
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A young mother who caused a deadly crash in Kapolei, is expected to be sentenced Tuesday.
Twenty-eight-year-old Kristen Mancao has pleaded no contest to manslaughter.
She faces up to 20 years in prison, but is eligible for probation.
Fifty-two-year-old Dean Gomes of Ewa Beach was killed last July.
That's when Mancao, who was drunk and speeding, ran a red light and broadsided his Corvette.
