NATIONAL POST - Alexis Wright, Zumba teacher pleads guilty to prostitution, Mar 30, 2013
"PORTLAND, Maine — The dance instructor who used her Zumba fitness studio as a front for prostitution faces jail time after pleading guilty in a case that captivated a quiet seaside town known for its beaches and picturesque homes. The plea agreement, which calls for a 10-month sentence, spares Alexis Wright from the prospect of a high-profile trial featuring sex videos, exhibitionism and pornography. She’s scheduled to be sentenced on May 31. Wright quietly answered “guilty” 20 times on Friday when the judge read the counts, which include engaging in prostitution, promotion of prostitution, conspiracy, tax evasion and theft by deception. “We’re very satisfied with it. It’s an appropriate outcome, given the gravity of her actions,” Assistant Attorney General Darcy Mitchell said after the brief court hearing."

THE PROVINCE - Patients of Tulsa oral surgeon line up outside clinic to get tested for possible diseases, Mar 30, 2013
"TULSA, Okla. - About 150 to 200 patients of a Tulsa oral surgeon who's accused of unsanitary practices are lining up outside a health clinic to be screened for hepatitis and the virus that causes AIDS. The line Saturday wrapped around the front of the large building north of downtown that houses Tulsa Health Department North Regional Health and Wellness Center. Oklahoma officials say 7,000 patients of Dr. W. Scott Harrington in the past six years will receive letters that warn that poor hygiene at Harrington's two clinics created a public health hazard."

The Associated Press: North Korea warns of 'state of war' with South, Mar 30, 2013
"SEOUL, South Korea (AP) — North Korea warned Seoul on Saturday that the Korean Peninsula was entering "a state of war" and threatened to shut down a border factory complex that's the last major symbol of inter-Korean cooperation. Analysts say a full-scale conflict is extremely unlikely, noting that the Korean Peninsula has remained in a technical state of war for 60 years. But the North's continued threats toward Seoul and Washington, including a vow to launch a nuclear strike, have raised worries that a misjudgment between the sides could lead to a clash."

REUTERS - Administrator appointed to run Bank of Cyprus, Mar 26, 2013
"(Reuters) - The Central Bank of Cyprus has appointed a special administrator to run the island's largest commercial lender, Bank of Cyprus, which was saved from collapse by a painful bailout for the island agreed with international lenders on Sunday.
Dinos Christofides, an accountant and banker with close to 40 years experience, told Reuters he had been appointed on Monday night, saying he would oversee "the restructuring of the bank and the absorption of part of Cyprus Popular Bank "."
