"Horses used to draw "botticelle" carriages around Rome are forced to work long hours in extreme heat. On July 27, 2012, a horse collapsed from strain after being made to draw a carriage in temperatures exceeding 100 degrees Fahrenheit. In 2009, two other horses died pulling carriages."
