SPACE, Astronomy News, May 05, 2011

Sixth-grader Kasey Schultz looks through a deep space telescope that is computer- and electronically driven at the astronomical observatory station outside L.B. Clarke Middle School in Two Rivers on Wednesday. The station was one of numerous space-related activities the sixth-graders did on Wednesday in conjunction with a visit by a bus painted to look like a space shuttle and filled with hands-on activities. Greg Goodchild, a member of the Two Rivers Optimist Club and an amateur astronomer, provided the telescopes and also talked to the students about space.
