NEWS. com - Two men shot dead at Gatineau day care centre in Quebec, Canada, Apr 06, 2013

Canada Day Care Shooting
"A MAN has fatally shot another man then killed himself at a day care centre in Quebec, prompting authorities to evacuate the children as terror-stricken parents and guardians scrambled to retrieve their kids. Gatineau Police Chief Mario Harel said all 53 children were safe and unharmed, and police speculated that some children likely witnessed Friday's killings. "It's a small area, it's a close space,'' said Harel. "For sure, they should have been witness (to) the event.'' Harel said police received a call about an armed man with a shotgun threatening people. They arrived to find the man dead with a shotgun beside him and a second, unidentified employee of the day care, also dead. He said the shooting seemed to be related to a recent separation between a couple."

Quebec, Canada - Two men found dead in shooting, Gatineau day care centre, Apr 06, 2013

Two men found dead in daycare shooting
"Dozens of toddlers wrapped in blankets and oversized coats were carried away from a Gatineau daycare Friday after two men died in an apparent murder-suicide, believed to have been sparked by a marital dispute. None of the 53 children who attended the Racines de Vie (Roots of Life) Montessori school - in two houses in Gatineau, a community just across the river from Ottawa - were hurt in the shooting. One body was found in each of the houses, which are across the street from a hospital campus. Robert Charron, who is not a resident of Gatineau, was one of the men who died, police confirmed Friday night. "We're not commenting on his role," said Sgt. Jean-Paul LeMay, adding that his age was intentionally withheld."
