 "The last time a prosecutor was gunned down in Kaufman County, Texas, in January, District Attorney Mike McLelland vowed to carry on. “We’ll still make the walk, and we’ll still show up,” McLelland said of the courthouse parking lot where one of his assistant district attorneys, Mark Hasse, was shot to death by an unknown assailant Jan. 31. “And we’ll still send bad guys out of Kaufman County every chance we get. We’re not stopping. We’re not slowing down.” Two months later, on Saturday evening, McLelland, 63, and his wife, Cynthia, 65, were found shot dead in their home near Forney, east of Dallas. And once again, Kaufman County Sheriff David Burns had no answers as the attack raised fears of a plot to kill law- enforcement officials in Texas."

"And on the White House Facebook page they teased the White House special announcement with an image of the White House briefing podium and telling everyone to tune in at 10:00 am ET for a special video message from the president. When Americans tuned in to the wh.gov page to see what President Obama had to say, they heard “Hail to the Chief” playing and then saw the so-called “Kid President” pop up from behind the briefing room podium and say “looks like you were expecting somebody else.”  The video (below) featured the “Kid President” talking to the camera and acting like a kid from the White House briefing room."

FOX News - NASA spacecraft snaps new photo of potential 'comet of the century, Apr 01, 2013

 "A NASA spacecraft scanning for the most powerful explosions in the universe has captured a photo of Comet ISON, an icy wanderer that could potentially dazzle stargazers when it swings close to the sun later this year. NASA's Swift satellite, which is typically used to track intense gamma-ray bursts from distant stars, photographed Comet ISON on Jan. 30, with the space agency unveiling the photo today (March 29). By tracking the comet over the last two months, Swift has allowed astronomers to learn new details about how large the comet is and how fast it is spewing out gas and dust."

"MANILA, Philippines - Malacañang said yesterday it’s time to hold the US government accountable for the damage done to Tubbataha Reef by the USS Guardian, now that the minesweeper has been removed from the atoll. “We maintain that there must be accountability and we will enforce our existing laws. We will adopt needed measures to prevent repetition,” Secretary Herminio Coloma of the Presidential Communications Operations Office said. Last week, salvors removed the last piece of the Guardian, which ran aground at the marine sanctuary and remained trapped there for two months. Deputy presidential spokesperson Abigail Valte expressed elation over the completion of the salvage efforts."
