With former producer Nigel Lythgoe's return came the decision to change around the judges panel to such an extent that fans didn't know what was going on. Ellen is definitely out, but is Kara leaving too? Who will take up the three vacated spots on the panel? J-Lo is considered to be a shoo-in but Aerosmith's Steven Tyler may be a little too edgy for the show while Jessica Simpson, Harry Connick Jr and Chris Isaak are all names that have floated around as new judges.
