The current highest-priced stamp on the Philatelic Collector Inc. (PCI) ebay shop is a single unused stamp, the US Halley Comet Green Variety First Printing from 1986. It has a face value of $3.95, but it’s ‘buy it now’ price on the site is $395US. 10090719

It’s confirmed – government has done a deal allowing a foreign company to produce Cook Islands postage stamps.
An agreement was signed between the government of the Cook Islands and Philatelic Collector Inc (PCI) on August 12, 2010. The contract gives PCI the exclusive rights to design, issue, print and market postage stamps for The Cook Islands government.
