The Newest Health Supplement Product, Oct 21, 2019

Life is busy. In fact, life is so busy that often we are so concerned with getting work finished, taking care of children, school runs, errands, bills and trying to get enough sleep that other areas of our health fall by the wayside. And, when you think about it, that is pretty sad.

Feeling low on energy, stressed out, not sleeping well, aches and pains, hair falling out. There are a lot of physical signs that show us we are low on specific vitamins and minerals. Some that you might not even notice until they have a real impact on you.

When you talk about dietary supplements, you are talking about the following:

Vitamins

Herbals

Botanicals

Amino Acids

Enzymes

Minerals

And more.

And unless you have a carefully balanced diet, and most of us don’t you will be low in some areas.

Popular ways to take supplements include:

Powers

Drinks

Tea

Capsules

Oils

Traditional Tablets

Food

Popular dietary supplements are the ones people most common feel they are lacking in. Vitamins D, E, and B12 are often cited as the cause of things like fatigue, mood swings, and bad digestion, Iron for feeling dizzy or tired a lot, Echinacea and Garlic for heart health and to ward off colds by boosting the immune system. Glucosamine for joint health, Probiotics for digestion and Fish Oils for everything from eyesight to skin support. Newer to the market, and just as potent as the rest are CBD capsules, used to help with pain management, anxiety, migraines, stress levels, concentration, and acne.
The Newest Health Supplement Product

Is CBD, and this really hit the ground running. Once people really understood that CBD, THC, and Cannabis aren’t the same and that CBD didn’t have the effect that cannabis or THC had - and in fact it really does good in the body - sales exploded. More people are looking up how to buy CBD pills, water, oils, cosmetics, foods, and more. So what is it suitable for? Pretty much everything.

CBD has had some really great research done into how it can help chronic pain sufferers manage pain better. And in fact, it is found that while some man-made drugs don’t have the impact really required to help a patient, CBD supports the body’s own system to do it. The endocannabinoid system in our body is like the Teacher than keeps the rest of the pupils (in this case, sleep, pain, appetite, mood, and focus) under control. Consider CBD the very useful Teaching Assitant in this example.

While it would be great to put a full list of everything that the system takes care of, it is pretty extensive. So instead we will concentrate on some of the more common issues people face and how CBD can aid in those things.

There are two types of cannabinoid receptors; type 1 (CB1) and type 2 (CB2). These neurons act as a sort of lock, with cannabinoids acting as the key. Performing different functions.

CB1 activation with the use of CBD:

Relieving depression

Lowering intestinal inflammation

Leaky gut syndrome

Lowering blood pressure

Reducing anxiety

And (a lot) more

CB2 activation with CBD is a much bigger fish. CB2 controls things like cardio, gastro, neurodegenerative, psychiatric, and autoimmune. And pretty much every pain related illness too. It is thought that CBD can help the CB2 combat the plaque build-up that is typically found in the brains of people with Alzheimer’s disease.
Dosages

Like most things in life, there is a lot of trial and error that goes into finding what milligram of CBD is going to work for you. You’d have to factor in your pain type, or how you feel your stress levels are and what you want to feel like after usage. It is worth noting that CBD will not make you feel sleepy or unable to manage your daily tasks. As it supports your system, so works with your natural rhythm.

There is no one dose fits all model, and research is still going on about how to get the most from CBD.

Generally, the advice would be to start with a smaller dose. This might be in the form of water with a dose anywhere between 5-20mg, or with cookies which can be somewhere in the region of 5-300mg.

You will find something that you prefer to take over time. 10mg capsules may roughly equate to 8 drops of CBD oil that has a 2.75% potency. So you’ll need to become label savvy - but generall the price will be a good indicator of the strength.

Finding the sweet spot for you will be a trial and error thing. But once you have found the product and dosage that works for you, you can add this into your daily supplement routine and enjoy the benefits of one of the newest supplements to hit the market.
