A recent episode of Dragon's Den showed a complicated corporate group situation headed by a company based in the British Virgin Islands (BVI). Much has been made of the frosty atmosphere between the chairs of two adjacent Dragons over a difference of opinion on matters of non-UK domicile, so throwing offshore companies into the Den could be considered incendiary.

Oil Nut Bay at the British Virgin Islands
Is Caribbean real estate on the upswing once again? There appear to be signs that investors are willing to bring their money back to paradise. Oil Nut Bay is a luxury resort community on a private peninsula on the eastern tip of Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands that is under construction. A beach villa model home (the "Jewel Box") recently made its debut and the Beach Club is slated to open....
Hurricane Earl Rips Through the Islands, British Virgin Islands
An angry hurricane named Earl, accompanied by three reported earthquakes that rocked Dominica and turned the sky yellow, spun through the Leeward Islands with over 135-mile-an hour winds and driving rainstorms that uprooted big trees, ripped roofs off houses, upended boats, caused power outages and flooded low lying areas of all the islands in its path.
