La proposition de loi, relative aux autorisations d’établir et d’exploiter un réseau ouvert au public, ou de fourniture au public d’un service de télécommunication", a bien évidemment relancé le débat entre l'ancien ministre de tutelle de l'OPT, Jacqui Drollet, et le ministre actuel, Teva Rohfritsch. Mais le Tahoeraa et l'UPLD sont restés soudés sur ce dossier et l'ont adopté avec 32 voix.
