ISLAMABAD, Pakistan—A teenage bomber struck a packed mosque during Friday prayers in the troubled northwest of Pakistan, killing at least 50 worshippers, the latest in a series of attacks by militants targeting religious places and shrines.
Later in the day, three grenade blasts killed four people at a mosque near Peshawar, the capital of the northwestern province of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.

Economy Adds 151,000 Jobs

Nonfarm payrolls rose by a greater-than-expected 151,000 last month as private-sector employers added 159,000 jobs, the Labor Department said Friday. The September number was revised to show payrolls fell by 41,000, less than an original estimate of a 95,000 decline.
