Brits give Kylie a No 1 spot | Sunshine Coast Music

Kylie Minogue's new album debuted at No 2 on the Aussie music charts, but the Brits made her No 1.

SHE missed out on the top spot on the Australian music charts, but pop princess Kylie Minogue is number one in the UK.
The singer's new album Aphrodite has made its debut at number two on the ARIA music charts, behind rapper Eminem's Recovery.
While music's bad boy kept her from the top of the albums chart in Australia, it was the other way around in the UK with the 42-year-old singer kicking the rapper out of the top spot he held last week.
"I've been completely overwhelmed by the reaction to Aphrodite and to hear that the album has gone to number one is the most amazing news. I am ecstatic," Minogue said.
