JESSICA SIMPSON THREATENS TO MAKE ANOTHER POP RECORD
JESSICA Simpson has threatened to make another pop record!
The singer, actress and reality TV star — who recently announced her engagement to beau Eric Johnson — has a Christmas themed album coming in December and is also planing to spend time working on material for a new pop album.
“I want to make another record, actually,” she said.
“I want to make another pop record. I’m just going to start writing and researching and hopefully work with The-Dream and Tricky again.
“We talked about it so we’ll see what I get in and what I create. Music is definitely my number two priority next to love.”
Simpson recently revealed she was the last member of her family to know Johnson planned to propose to her.
“He kept the ring hidden in a shoe somewhere in my house and had talked to my dad, he had talked to my mom, he even talked to my sister. Everyone knew but me!” Jessica said during an interview with chat show host Jimmy Fallon.
Eric, 31, popped the question while at home with Jessica, 30, and the blonde beauty admits his surprise proposal was “romantic”.
“It was at my house. It was romantic that he actually asked me at my house, because that’s my little safe haven” she said. (more…)
ANNE HATHAWAY: ‘THE MEDIA KEEPS BLOWING EVERYTHING OUT OF PROPORTION’
SEXY screen siren Anne Hathaway insists her new movie, Love and Other Drugs, “is not a romantic comedy, it’s a funny love story.”
And Hathaway says she’s fed up with the media only focusing on the movie’s many love scenes between herself and costar Jake Gyllenhaal.
“I think the media’s completely blown it out of proportion,” she said.
“I never had any hesitation about doing it because it made sense to me that these two people would behave like that. These are two people who are incredibly attracted to each other, who have a sexual relationship, and we explored the reality of that.”
Hathaway recently admitted that falling love can be one “worst parts of being alive”.
“Most people want love and the journey sometimes is really rocky to find it,” she said. “It’s an exploration and an adventure always. It’s also one of the most wonderful parts of being alive and one of the worst parts of being alive when it doesn’t go well.
“Love & Other Drugs is about what it takes to let love in. Love is hard work and it’s scary, and it’s all totally worth it.”
Hathaway’s experience the pain that love can cause when her ex-boyfriend, Italian real estate developer Raffaello Follieri, was sentenced to four-and-a-half years in prison in 2008 after pleading guilty to cheating investors out of millions of dollars. (more…)
JAMES FRANCO CAN’T RELAX
JAMES Franco finds it hard to relax.
The 127 Hours actor — who is currently studying at several US universities, recently had his own art exhibition, owns a production company and released a book of short stories last month — admits he is so driven to achieve more in his life, he struggles to find hobbies that allow him to completely switch off.
“It’s hard for me to have just hobbies. I’d say I have a couple of hobbies,” he said.
“You know, playing ping pong. When I play ping pong, I don’t have the need to go to the Olympics.
“In my life, I do a lot because I have a lot I’m interested in. I don’t know if you can point to one thing or another and say that’s the real me. I am a bit goofy but I love school.”
Despite his success as an actor, James insists he is never treated differently by his classmates.
“They’ve all been great, they don’t treat me differently,” he said.
““In the States, the Yale English program is one of the top in the country so they’re all superstars in their own right.”

JUSTIN Timberlake wants an Academy Award!
The SexyBack hitmaker is said to be mounting an aggressive campaign to land himself a Best Supporting Actor Oscar nomination for his role in The Social Network.
“He’s hell-bent on getting a nomination this year even though he has tough competition from his costar Andrew Garfield,” a source told New York Post gossip column Page Six.
“Sony is footing the bill for advertising the awards campaign, but Justin is also doing things his own way, including attending Academy screenings on his own and privately reaching out to award winners and Academy darlings Tom Hanks and Kevin Spacey for campaigning advice.”
Timberlake recently joked he bribes people to praise his work.
“The truth is I pay those guys to say nice things but I didn’t know David was going to give me an Oscar nod,” he said.

JOHNNY Depp has banned phones from his house in France.
The actor — who raises two children with longtime love Vanessa Paradis — likes to make sure his private time with his family is uninterrupted.
“When I’m at our house in France I totally cut myself off from the rest of the world,” Johnny said.
“I never have to listen to phones ringing and that’s because — and Vanessa would confirm this — phones are banned from the house.
“We have a beautiful life and I feel that spending time in France has just calmed me down and made me stop worrying about things which aren’t really important.”

Justin Bieber Relies on a Vocal Coach
JUSTIN Bieber has a vocal coach with him constantly to help him through his voice breaking.
The 16-year-old Baby singer is currently struggling as puberty alters his vocal chords, but has a voice expert watching over him and ensure he can still perform his hits live.
“Justin is physically developing at a slower rate than most guys so his voice is only breaking now,” a source said.
“He’s working with the best in the business, a specialist called Jan Smith, to make sure he gets s much vocal rest as humanly possible for a working pop star.
“It’s the same people who worked with Usher when his voice broke.”
Justin has previously insisted puberty is no big deal.
“Everyone’s voice changes, puberty is a natural thing,” he said in July this year.
“I have the best vocal coach in the world and we’re working on my voice and doing what I need to do.
“It’s not like as soon as you hit puberty you stop singing.”
Lily Allen Planning to Marry Next Year?
LILY Allen is reportedly planning to marry in 2011.
The star suffered the tragic loss of her baby six months into her pregnancy at the beginning of this month, but the devastating ordeal has only strengthened her relationship with builder Sam Cooper.
“Lily and Sam had loose plans to marry after the baby was born but nothing concrete was in motion,” a source said.
“Now they have decided they want to be man and wife as soon as possible. They realised through their grief that they absolutely adore one another and cannot live without each other.”
25-year-old pop singer Lily has previously described Sam, 32, as the “love of my life” and the couple — who have been dating since summer last year — are said to be looking at a wedding in the county of Gloucestershire in England.
They are thought to be considering tying the knot at either Lily’s father, Keith’s home, or in the town of Minchinhampton.
“Lily is very close to her dad and she took him up on his offer of holding the wedding at his,” said the pal.
“She loves his country pad and she and Sam feel it is absolutely right for them to marry there. They want to be together after what they’ve gone through and see becoming man and wife as the light at the end of the tunnel.”
Lily is not thought to have got engaged to Sam yet, but sources close to the star believe they will soon.
