NZ boosts Tonga tourism with $5.2m development grant
Nuku'alofa, Tonga:
New Zealand has committed $5.2 million pa'anga over three years to support the development of tourism in Tonga by funding the development of marketing activities and heritage sites to supporting community-based tourism association projects.

Nuku'alofa, Tonga: Six candidates for the 2010 Parliamentary Election who failed to lodge an election spending statement were each fined $500 pa'anga each at the Fasi Magistrate's Court on Friday, January 28. While summons have been issued on another six candidates on the same charge.
