June 2011 Visit to U.S.

Saturday, 25th June 2011President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf traveled to the United States of America on Wednesday, June 22, for a week-long visit. While in the United States, the President held meetings with members of Congress, including the newly appointed leadership of Committees, to update them on the progress that Liberia has made in consolidating its democracy and fostering development, fueled by foreign investment and the private sector.
