Abstraction (Gr. Αφαίρεσις, Aphairesis (pron. [a'feresis]))

Abstract thinking/noesis, perception, conceiving holoteses etc, which is generated (formed) by taking away (removing) accidental properties (reducing information) of theirs (see Aristotle: sumbebekos; also nine kinds of accidents (nine out of ten categories (predicate of

proposition) (i.e except “ousia” (substance), namely quantity, quality, relation, habitus, time, location, situation (or position), action, and passion); congenital in living creatures, unconscious though, they, being affected by single/particular holoteses/entities etc, conceive or comprehend (apprehend/grasp) reality by describing/defining holoteses.
