The Associated Press: Fed. officials plan stepped-up fight against carp

TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. (AP) — Federal officials promised a stepped-up fight Thursday to keep Asian carp out of the Great Lakes by better tracking their movements, blocking potential migration pathways and killing any that manage to evade a network of new and improved barriers.
